San Antonio Recovery Center

At the San Antonio Recovery Center (SARC), clients benefit from a full continuum of care that focuses on evidence-based treatments and a holistic program. The rehab schedule includes things like process therapy, chemical dependency education, relapse prevention, and AA meetings. Aside from the therapeutic activities, clients can also take part in recreational activities and spend time with Lacy, the facility’s rescue dog. Lacy’s story of being saved from the streets during Hurricane Harvey is shared with clients to serve as an example of resilience and hope. Lacy is part of the animal-assisted therapy program at SARC and is a source of comfort for many clients.
