The Elphis is a supportive community that offers additional support and skill implementation for clients who have left a 28-day inpatient addiction treatment programme. Their mission is to help integrate the skills learned during inpatient care and provide the tools to help clients rejoin daily life. The Elphis program provides a restorative setting, with comfortable lounges, dining rooms, games rooms, and landscaped gardens, contributing to their supportive atmosphere. They also offer holistic care, which blends evidence-based therapies such as relational therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), art therapy, drama therapy, equine therapy and yoga, with relapse prevention and life skills training. Clients participate in group therapy sessions in a comfortable and encouraging environment and can even engage in family counselling, which is available for all. Through cooking, cleaning, shopping for meals, and becoming a tight-knit community centred on recovery, clients gain greater independence while still surrounded by the care they need.
