Brattleboro Retreat

The Brattleboro Retreat is a renowned dual diagnosis treatment center that specializes in helping adolescent and adult individuals heal from substance abuse, behavioural issues, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Featuring an array of programs designed to foster sobriety and well-being, the Retreat offers adult and adolescent inpatient care for substance abuse, specialized inpatient care for children aged 5-12 dealing with serious behavioral issues, LGBTQ+ adult inpatient services, a uniformed service program for first responders, military, and police, and virtual IOP. Treatment is a mixture of individual and group therapy, with classes focusing on topics such as alcohol education, relapse prevention, coping skills, and anger management. Upon completion of the program, aftercare plans are established with primary counselors.
