At Spruce Mountain Inn, young adults ages 18-28 receive personalized care and therapeutic treatment for mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and co-occurring disorders. They use an evidence-based and experiential approach in their therapies, which include family therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Group therapy, 12-step meetings, psychoeducation groups, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Therapy are also part of the therapeutic program. Clients can receive education and career support in order to achieve their goals, such as completing local internships, life skills training, and university classes. Experiential and expressive therapies are also offered, including adventure, art, movement, and music outings. The spacious campus offers shared and single rooms, a lounge, rec room, art studio, tv room, chef-prepared meals, yoga classes, access to fitness equipment, access to musical instruments, and an outdoor dining area. Technology and social media use are moderated during the 9 month stay. Clients first stay at The Inn, then transition to The Apartments (staffed, transitional living), and then The Greatwood Lodge (unstaffed, transitional living). Treatment costs are self-pay.
