Clementine Fairfax is a residential treatment center for adolescents between ages 13-17 struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and exercise addiction. They utilize evidence-based therapies, such as 1-on-1 therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy, to promote recovery. Additionally, clients and their families can take part in weekly family therapy sessions, a parent education program, family meals, or multi-family large groups. Clients can also practice healthy skills such as journaling, time management, chores, decision making, and handling peer pressure. The center provides academic support, personalized meal and exercise plans, and reintegration help. Fun activities include expressive therapy, game and movie nights, free time, pottery, jewelry making, weekly movement sessions, expressive movement therapy, dance, outings such as museum visits or bowling, and visits to grocery stores and restaurants. Clementine Fairfax is located in the Fairfax Station countryside, and features colorful interiors, indoor and outdoor lounge spaces, shared rooms, a yoga studio, and an academic center. They are Joint Commission accredited and accept various public and private insurances.
