About TMS Center of Madison

TMS Center of Madison is Madison’s only provider of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), offering evidence-based alternatives to treat adults with major depressive disorder. Located on University Ave in Madison, WI, the outpatient office is supervised by a psychiatrist and consists of treatments that use highly focused magnetic pulses to stimulate areas of the brain that control mood. These treatments last around 30 minutes and involve 5 sessions per week over a 4-6 week period, totaling 26-36 treatments. TMS Center of Madison was established in 2013 as a collaboration between Connections Counseling and Rosecrance, and is located at the Connections counseling office. Most Madison-area insurance companies cover TMS sessions, while coverage for other clients is determined on a case-by-case basis. Free consultations are available to all prospective clients.
