About New Vision Wilderness

New Vision Wilderness is an outdoor behavioral health program for adolescents, teens, and their families affected by trauma. Located in Wisconsin’s Northwoods, the program combines trauma-responsive therapy with individual and canine counseling, backpacking, mountaineering, white water rafting, fly-fishing, and more. It lasts 80 days and is accredited through Cognia, offering academic credits. Licensed therapists support individual and group therapy sessions two days a week, along with family involvement. Brainspotting therapy and trauma-specific treatment modalities are used to help students develop better control of their nervous systems and emotions.
