Oasis Recovery Centre

Situated in South Africa’s stunning Garden Route, Oasis Recovery Center is a family-owned residential treatment center focused on helping those struggling with addiction. Founded in 2005, Oasis strives to rebuild lives through a combination of evidence-based and multidisciplinary therapies. These include schema therapy, individual and group therapy, psycho-dynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotion-focused therapy, interpersonal therapy, 12-step program, volunteer program, engaging with nature, play therapy, art therapy, drama therapy, and yoga therapy. The center offers 9 spacious bedrooms, with 19 beds – some for private and some for semi-private use – and a range of age-appropriate leisure activities, such as canoeing, stand up paddling, horseback riding, surfing, mountain biking, whale trips, and golf. Clients must be 18 or over and are expected to stay for 30 days, at an approximate cost of $7,000. The center has a pool, tennis court, library, Wifi, and Netflix so that clients can relax during their stay. Healthy meals are catered from the local restaurant.
